The PGD-Dial retention system uses BOA Fit, which is a knob that tightens the helmet to fit the head. You can adjust the retention system with one hand.

 

BOA Fit is used e.g. by elite athletes instead of laces to get the shoe aside close to the foot and by snowboarders to get the boot to sit close to the foot instead of the old-fashioned buckles. The BOA Fit retention system is popular because it is just easier and faster to get a military helmet to sit correctly and comfortably on the head.

 

The helmet will also feel lighter because the buckle system distributes the weight evenly around your head.

 

A final detail is also that the buckle system uses ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles and high-quality nylon from Europe to optimize the straps that hold the helmet firmly on the head.

The PGD 10-pad liner consist of 10 pads specially designed memory foam pads. The special memory foam, takes 2-3 seconds to shape into your head. Both give the feeling of a ‘flying’ helmet, which fits snugly without feeling tight.
